Session 1, 6-7:30pm
Dancing With Intent: Slowing Your Slow & Deepening Connection
Instructors: Rod & Rachael
This session focuses on the advantages of partnered connection and presence. We will embrace slowness and relax into the dance.
There will be a brief break between classes.
Session 2, 7:30-9pm
Extending What You Know: Having Fun With 5 & 6
Instructors: Rod & Mary
This session will playfully guide you through those blank mind moments. We will play with core elements, partner influence, and elements of variation.
We highly encourage you to attend both sessions!
These workshops are designed for those with some familiarity with Slow Bal. While we welcome those of all skill levels to participate, our focus for these sessions is to refine core Slow Bal elements that incorporate into a move.
Knowledge of a Dean’s Basic & the come around are recommended and will not be taught.
For absolute beginners, we will have weekly beginner level class resuming in February.
We recommend bringing water bottles and shoes with smooth soles
